Sugar Topped Dream Scone Mix

What could be better than perfectly warm, crispy and fluffy scones with a crackle sugar topping? We have made these for over a decade for clients from all over the world and now you will too!

• You will need:
  • 1 stick of very cold unsalted butter (113.5 g or ½ cup) cut into ½ inch cubes
  • ¾ cups plus 2 tbsp of heavy cream or ¾ cups buttermilk
  • 1-2 bananas of any ripeness, in ½ inch slices,
  • 3 tbsp of coarse or granulated sugar if desired
• 541 g (makes 8 scones)

Ingredients: Unbleached flour made of hard red spring wheat from Quebec (Niacin, reduced Iron, Thiamin, Riboflavin, Folate), sugar, dark brown sugar, baking powder (sodium bicarbonate, corn starch, monocalcium phosphate), sodium bicarbonate, salt
